WEEKLY ROTATION

Weekly Rotation was an ambitious year-long creative project completed in 2021, combining music curation with visual design across 52 consecutive weeks. Each week, I carefully curated a new playlist while designing original artwork to serve as the cover, creating a unique pairing of sonic and visual experiences. This project challenged me to maintain consistent creative output while exploring the relationship between music and visual art. Over the course of the year, I developed skills in both playlist curation – discovering new artists, balancing familiar and experimental tracks, and crafting cohesive listening experiences – and graphic design, experimenting with different visual styles, color palettes, and artistic approaches for each week's cover art. The weekly format created an evolving archive of musical moments and visual expressions from 2021, capturing both personal growth as an artist and the cultural zeitgeist of that time. Each playlist and its corresponding artwork stands as a snapshot of creative exploration, while the complete collection represents a sustained commitment to creative practice and artistic development.
